Why it’s “Meshy”
Built with a Silverlight user interface and using Mesh Silverlight libraries, Collaborative Crossword allows for multiple players to contribute to a shared game space. At regular intervals, the client triggers a comparison of the game’s local version of the data to the Mesh’s version, which is pulled from the cloud automatically behind the scenes. The client writes any game board changes to the Mesh, storing each square as an item in a Feed object. Mesh then handles the mechanics of data transfer back up to the cloud, so the developers wrote only client-side code.
